[Help] Hexxat's 3rd quest - the 3 items?

In the beginning of this quest, you can take 3 items from a chest.

A statue of a child, a djinni bottle and some silk cloth.

Has anyone found out, what the items are meant for?

    Hi, I just did the quest and no idea either... I figured might have been possible to use it with the spider queen type of deal one way or another, but oh to fast she was dead.

    In case you are romancing Hexxat, can you reply to my other thread (wondering when actual romance starts, I just finished same quest as you).

    Do you know when/how the romance is initiated?

    They are optional items that affect the traps in the area. I'll leave the specifics for players to find out. :)

    If your character is female, the first lovetalk will start about ninety minutes after you recruit Hexxat. She asks why you are in Athkatla.

    Great, my character is female and this did not happen to me. What can I do about it?

    Are you in a dungeon-type area? She won't initiate lovetalks in dungeons, in combat (probably not an issue), or in Chapter 5. Also, ninety minutes is in real time, just to be clear.

    I'm currently in chapter 3 and way more than 90 minutes in... I have already got the amount of money for bodhi and finished various quests, in addition to Hexxat's quests to free her from L.

    I am stuck on this quest too. I cant get past the statue thing that keeps telling me to put my hand in his mouth

    Read the books in the library. You know, the library that the statue will teleport you back to when you get a wrong answer ... :-) They have the answers to all the questions.

    How do I get past the hallway with the undetectable spike trap? (I have 220 in detect traps but cant detect / remove it). As soon as it hits someone it encumbers them to 11,000 weight and they cant move and they eventually die in the trap.

    Drop the statue and run through you take 3 hits up to 20 a hit unless you haste. Stone skin might block it... My Charname with shorty saves took nothing but I think viconia died.

    Fight the first four ghosts for a challenge, btw I think they should count as undead but don't. I ended up only kill ing hexxat with false dawn.

    If time stops and put fiends are your type of thing at level 11 then those first four are a blast!
