[SPOILER] QUestion about Roger the Fence

in New Players (NO SPOILERS!)
any reason in particular why Roger the Fence in the Athkatla Sewers is automatically hostile when I encounter him?

there is no way I did any damage to him before, during or after the raksasha/kobold fight. I don't understand why he would be hostile at all, no area of effect spells were used anywhere close to him. I think it might be a bug I'm not sure though ...

    This sort of thing is often due to bugged Call for Help scripts. Do you happen to have SCS or another enemy AI script mod installed? I've certainly run into similar problems once or twice before.

    No it's a clean install of BG2:EE

    You should have created the thread on BG2:EE bugs.
    Maybe he is set as an enemy, I really don't know. Maybe he got damage from somewhere, or IDK what else.

    Maybe you did Bodhis quest first and turned the shadow thieves hostile?
