Future of BG:EE beta

Now that version 1.2 has been released, I'd like to know if there are plans for the beta that lead to it. For example, are future patches going to be released first through the beta channel? And when members of the beta have reported no bug, it would then be released to the rest of the players? Or has the beta achieved its goal and it shall be retired?

    The beta will remain in use for future testing efforts. The "Road to 1.2" model worked exceedingly well for us, so we'll be doing it again for sure. I couldn't say when you'll see an update to it, though.
