Missing Shadow Thieves in Mae'Var's Guild Hall (Spoilers)

I headed back to assassinate Mae'Var after exposing him to Renal Bloodscalp. I remember from the original BG2 that at this point, as soon as you enter the guild hall, groups of Shadow Thieves are supposed to come out of the shadows in the corners of the "shop" area, as well as on the second floor, and attack your party. These additional foes are missing in BG2:EE.
