In Neverwinter Nights, when you are about to cast a fireball spell you get a nice circle around the mouse pointer that shows you clearly who will be hit by its area of effect. Why wasn't this sort of thing added to BG:EE?

    As a heads-up to anyone brave, handsome and smart enough to tackle this, there is already a scalable circle in the infinity engine, when you use the guard function and hold left-click. It's not super-snazzy, but it's a start.

    This would be a useful feature to add. It might not be possible because of the limitations of the engine.

    If only someone with an access to the source code could remove such limitations from the engine... x)
