Hexxat's second quest

in BGII:EE Bugs (v1.2.2030)
On Hexxat's second quest, the three magicians can be provoked to all quarrel with each other. However, they still attack party members (casting Greater Malison etc.) Is this a bug, or should I just get everyone to stand further back? :-P

    Hmm, I'm slightly mistaken, but I still think there's a bug:

    I tried dealing with them by just retreating when they started to quarrel. They do just attack each other, but they wind up huddling in a group in the middle of the room, not doing anything. Attacking them makes them turn on the party ...

    I suspect the huddling-in-the-middle-of-the-room is a bug, they should be attacking each other more effectively ... :-)

    I believe this is the 3rd quest? If you figure out what to do with the 3 items (child statue, silk cloth and Djinny lamp) let me know.
