Dorn's Third Quest (Spoilers)

in General Discussion (Spoiler Warning!)
So I'm trying to complete Dorn's third(?) quest. I'm at the stage in which it asks for the sacrifice of a sapient being. The dialogue seems to hint that I could sacrifice the druid, or something else, but I can only get the quest to progress by sacrificing a party member.

Is it supposed to work that way, or am I missing something here?

    You should be able to sacrifice the druid.

    Alright so I still can't get the summoned creature dialogue to work, but I did through reloading manage to get the druid resurrection to work. Thanks.

    The creature you summon has to be sentient, or the ritual won't work.

    how do you resurect the druid? as i don't got the raise dead on my clerics bars and it seems i can't sleep in the damn groove,just keep getting waken by ankhegs.

    You can sleep. It might just take a few tries. I used the Rod of Resurrection :)

    i've tried to sleep about 25 times now. :p heh,i actully sold the damn rod by accident..so im at a loss as what to do now..

    the rod of resurrection did not work for me. i had to cast raise dead to trigger the event
