Any Romance restrictions for a Dwarf?

So yeah just wondering if I make a Dwarf male and female will they be able to Romance everyone or is there restrictions? I feel like I heard somewhere that they are...

    As I recall -- I could be wrong -- dwarves cannot romance the original trio, but the new BGII:EE romances don't have any racial restrictions. :)

    Bioware hated Dwarves, iirc. They got less love in the original BG2 and little love in Dragon Age, too.

    In the orginal BG2 many races were restricted from romancing certain NPC's.

    Viconia: Male Human, Half-elf, or Halfling. NOTE: Apparently Half-Orc was intended to be an included race aswell but for some reason it didn't work without a fix-pack. Whether or not you can rmance her as a Half-Orc in BG2:EE or not, I have no Idea.

    Aerie: Male Human, Elf, Half-Elf, Halfling or Gnome. Aerie likes to get freaky with a wide variety of races.

    Jaheira: Male Human, Elf, Half-Elf or Halfling.

    Anomen: Female Human, Elf, Half-Elf.... maybe Halfling... I can't remember for sure.

    Dorn: Female or Male of any race.

    Neera: Male of any race.

    Rasaad: Female of any race.

    Hexxat: Female of any race.

    So, no love for Dwarves unless you're interested in one of the new NPCs.

    Can these racial restrictions for romance be lifted by mod (which mod?) or using EEKeeper?

    The BG2 Tweak Pack (http://www.gibberlings3.net/bg2tweaks/) has a component that will do it. You can also do it manually by altering aerie.bcs, jaheira.bcs, and viconia.bcs with NearInfinity.

    I'm not sure but I think Rasaad will only go for good aligned females. So if your lady dwarf is neutral or evil, he might not be available despite having no race restriction.

    Rasaad will romance any female PC. :)
