Future Party for my B2EE run

I have a little issue, I dont know who i want to have in my party for BG2EE.
I'll admit i haven't played much of the vanilla or modded BG2 (bigger fan of BG1).
I have however watched a few awesome lps on youtube of the game so know "my" way around the game and the npcs. But I am still having a hard time deciding what members I'd like to take and now with 4 new npcs added to the mix its even harder.

Here is what I am thinking:

PC - assassin or blade (unsure which just yet)
Hexxat - seems to have quite a story (been hard to avoid reading the spoiler post)
Dorn - enjoying him as I play a full run of BG1EE right now
Viconia - Always enjoy her company

That is so far. My BG1EE party comprises of the following:
PC - jester
Dorn
Viconia
Neera
Safana
Coran

I dig the mix of characters from all alignments. But I keep finding myself building out a more evil aligned party for BG2EE more and more. I'd love to have Edwin in the party as my main spell caster. But would love to see Neeras new material. Being a huge fan of BG1 Jaheria, Minsc and even Imoen hold a special place with me but want to avoid taking them all. So love to hear some thoughts, suggestions or advice on what my final party should look like. I am looking for a good bantering, romance or two, plenty of story filled type of party.

Again my final list:

PC - assassin or blade
Hexxat
Dorn
Viconia
Edwin

Jaheria, Cernd, Haer-Dalis, Coran (see below)

I've thought about adding in the Coran NPC mod along with the following other mods:

Rogue Rebalancing
Unfinished Business
Maybe the Xan NPC mod

Thoughts on those as well.

As for me, what I usually do is I cycle through almost all, if not all, party members. That way you'd still get a fair share of their banters. Exp is distributed, but at least there's more story. One thing I'm certain though, Jaheira has the longest and arguably the most interesting storyline in vanilla.

ah thanks Illustair. I usually do that but think sometimes I may miss out if keeping someone longer with the idea that there may be more content, ya know?

That's my problem too, I worry too much that I'd miss something. Oh, but we'd definitely miss something. Nothing that can be remedied by another playthrough though if you want to see more, we just can't have it all in one go. I'm anxious to see Hexxat myself, there seems to be a generally positive reception.

Edit: I just realized, my opinion is so skewed about well-received Hexxat. I only read the positive receptions thread, because they are those that are less likely to be full of spoilers I believe; usually just positive overview, not a critique on certain twists.
