Aerie's Skin/Hair

I would like them changed back to their original colors. Yeah, it's a very tiny thing and doesn't make that much difference at all and wouldn't even be noticed by most folks, but equally there was reason to change it in the first place. She just doesn't look quite right now; she should be visibly fairer skinned than Nalia or Imoen, for example. Avariel are supposed to have very fair skin, and there is an actual description of her in the game that goes 'your skin is so pale, your gaze so innocent, and your hips so rounded... ' I think the slightly darker looking colors in her portrait are easily explained as lighting.

Are you sure that's from the game and not from that dirty, dirty fanfic I, I mean, someone else wrote?

Heh... no. It's that guy in the Copper Coronet who tries to hit on all the ladies (until he tries to hit on Viconia...)

I like Nalia's new colors though. That was the only discrepancy that ever really stood out for me; her hair being darker and browner in her portrait than on her ginger avatar.

It's much more likely that Salvanas is just using hyperbole to try to get into Aerie's pants. One thing we won't be doing is changing her hair and skin color to make her look less like her portrait.

She already looked fine. You just have to consider the lighting in her portrait as well; there's a bright yellow/orange/golden light shining on her. If anything, if you want them to more precisely match, it makes more sense to lighten the portrait so it's more consistent with the game and how an avariel should look.

I invite you to modify her colors for yourself, then. Not every avariel is as fair as Galadriel, and Aerie is a good example of that. If you prefer her original colors, you are more than welcome to change them.

Obviously, I'm going to. I'm sorry if I ever come across as rude; I am a little bit aspergic, I know. I know not every elf has to be as fair as Galadriel, but after thirteen years it is an established trait of Aerie's among many fans, so I don't see the harm in asking about it.

But you didn't make Imoen's hair pink. Why is Imoen's hair not pink?
