Quest Items Background Color

Hello,
There are lots of quest items which you can reach before the quest. Also we most likely to follow many quest at the same time and have to keep track of many quest items at once. They could be forgotten on ground, dropped for making space ( a non magical item? throw it) etc.
I suggest, quest items have always have a color in background. Just like the "unidentified" or "not usable" items, but with a different color code. ( yellow-green perhaps)
This will help for; picking that dagger from Ankheg or letting that short sword stay there forever.
In an RPG sense, checking loot is not done by eye, our party actually searches and finds items on corpses and containers, so they should realize a weapon with a name carved, a necklace with family symbols already. Although old gamers probably won't lose any quest items, it will be a fine addition for everyone, and i think its easy.
