Half Orc fighter, 20 con, lvl 9 and 10 only 3 hps gain.

I even slid the gameplay down to max hps and only getting 3 hps gains.
Any idea what the heck is happening? I am 99% sure a lvl 9/10 fighter with 20 con should be getting MUCH more than 3 hps per lvl.

Nope. After level 9 fighters only get 3hp/level.

It's a second edition D&D thing.

After 9 it's Fighters -> 3hp, Rogue/Clerics/Druids -> 2hp, Mages-> 1hp.

Thief and Mage still roll their hit dice at level 10 then and get +2/+1 hp thereafter.

So I guess when you pick NPC's up before level 9 it's random as to how much HP they'll start with?

I have Neera at level 9 and she only has like 30 HP, seems low but I'm thinking I just got really unlucky
