Hexxat stuck as immortal mist? **how to fix**

Has this happened to you? Hexxat got Symbol: Death'ed fighting a lich and got stuck as a mist that could not die and needed no Dragomir's cloak. IF THIS HAPPENS: Remove her from the party manually via the character screen. Once you talk to her and get her back, she will die and go back to the bag until she regenerates. Problem solved! Just putting this on here in case someone searches it.

    Tihs is helpful, however you'll automatically gain her 'held' items which means the casque which can't be removed is stuck in your inventory

    You will still be able to complete Hexxat's questline even if the Casque of Dragomir is in Charnames inventory.

    Hi,
    I have the same problem, but when I kick her out of my party, I cannot initiate a dialogue with her to get her to rejoin.
    Anyone know a solution to this?

    @db_ find out how to activate the console here, go to the game and press CTRL+Q while pointing the cursor towards Hexxat.

    OK, it works to make her rejoin the party, but she still remains in mistform

    @db_‌ Drop this zipped .BS file in your scripts folder (it is in the same directory as the CHITIN.KEY, open the game, go to Record Screen->Customize->Script there scroll down and select CUSTOM (7CHEXFIX), go to the main game screen, select the character whom you assigned the script to, make sure the party AI is on and press the letter D.

    almost there. I now get hexxat back into her non-mist form, but the moment she gets damaged she immediately ges stuck in her immortal mist form again :(

    Press CTRL+M and enter C:SetGlobal("7Chexxatfix","GLOBAL",0), then use the script again, after healing Hexxat.

    still not.
    Does it matter how I heal her? I used a wand of resurrection.
    Isn't it possible to delete her from the game completely and have her reappear somewhere? Or does she then lose all her current xp etc?

    You can re-spawn her with C:CreateCreature("OHHEX8") and then select her and enter C:SetCurrentXP("desired XP value in numbers").
    You can upload a save so I fix it for you if you want, now that I have access to a decent computer..

    @db_ Here your save :)
    There was a permanent silence effect over Hexxat that prevented her form speaking to the PC (form the Deck of Many Things), I got the rid off of it since Hexxat isn't designed to be silenced forever, and you didn't have Remove Curse memorized. I don't blame you for this issue, I also used her to use the Deck of Many Things in my run :P and also had this problem more than once.

    I actually thought that the silence was part of the bug :S
    Anyway, I still need to kick her out of the party and then re-add her, but then it seems ok for now.
