Custom .Bio files not applying in Black Pits 2

Situation: When importing characters in the Black Pits 2 through character files, their custom Bio's don't apply. Instead they get the default "adventurer" biography. It works fine in SoA and ToB.

Expected behaviour: Biography applying as expected from the .BIO files when importing.

I can workaround this by CTRL-V + CTRL-C'ing the biographies from the BIO file in windows into the character sheet.
