OSX Travel map icons > graphic glitch

Running BGEE on osx 10.9 , the travel map icons are either barely visible/grainy or completely gone. Travelling works fine when clicking the area.
After restarting the game sometimes everything (the icons) looks fine, sometimes this glitch shows up.
