Splash Screen for BG2 EE is all messed up.

in BGII:EE Bugs (v1.2.2030)
Just installed the game. I can navigate the menu enough to play the game which looks/sounds fine.
However, I want to be able to roll a character and just can't with the menu looking like this. Can anyone help me identify what's wrong? Problem: http://i.imgur.com/t246sgH.png

    Nothing? I just paid 20 dollars for a game that's unplayable? Unreal.

    I am pretty sure the situation is fixable.

    Try running in various compatibility modes, try updating your nvidia drivers... if that doesn't work then hopefully the support team can help you.

    I have seen this issue with certain firewall software. Basically, you need to allow baldur.exe as a "trusted application" or the like in your firewall program.

    Been playing with compatibility, removing authorization, no firewall. Nothing works.

    What video card do you have? Some Intel video cards don't play nice with the game.

    It's in the screenshot he posted. It's a "nvidia geforce 9500 gt", which isn't intel.

    Ah, yes...I really should have looked at both screenshots...

    Having done so now, I believe I see the cause of your problem. You are using the drivers that Windows provides for NVidia video cards, not the drivers NVidia provides. Download and install the latest WHQL drivers from http://www.geforce.com/drivers and that will probably fix it.
