Edwin and the Thayan Enclave (Neera SoA Spoilers)

Greetings all,
The last part of Neera's SoA quest is about infiltrating and destroying a Thayan Enclave in Athkatla. If you enter the building with Edwin in your team he will (understandably) leave the party.
However, he also quits the party (with the same dialogue) if you enter the Enclave *after the quest has been completed*. This is an issue, since the place contains a rather awesome shopkeeper that I wouldn't mind visiting on occasion. It also doesn't make much sense.
Basically, is it possible to change Edwin's behaviour vis-a-vis Enclave if Neera's quest has already concluded? Introduce a flag based on the quest completing that prevents him firing his leaving dialogue, perhaps?
