Journal updated when Elder Orb eyestalk retrieved but haven't met Ardulace yet

See title. I'm in the underdark right now and I haven't even been to Ust Natha yet. My journal updated saying that I should bring the eye stalk back to Ardulace.

    This happened in the original game too. I remember saying, in my first run, who the hell Ardualce is, and why did this is wrotten in my journal? But well, I didn't had to get out of Ust Natha to get it :P

    I think it's even more obvious now that the journal text is displayed in the combat log.
