My baldur's gate 2 EE save files are corrupted

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem.

I am having numerous crashes in my Baldurs Gate 2 EE game. Some times after these crashes the games have everything reset in the entire game. All of the quests are reset which makes the game unplayable. It evens deletes the areas on the map that have been revealed.

Any idea if this can be fixed?

    there are multiple reports on this issue in the BGII:EE bugs section. best bet is to either re-load any previous auto save or keep manually saving from time to time, and re-load them. feel free to check through the bugs section to see if anyone has any better work-arounds for you.

    ive had this happen to me multiple time, luckily i knew to reload an older save. and not continue on, and have my auto save over-written.
