BG2:EE OS X Modding

Hi
I got BG2EE the other day and I'm loving it. I was wondering if the old mods for BG2 work on BG2EE and if so if they are compatible on the osx version. Specifically, I wanted to install the MorrowGate mod so I could play a fallen ranger without the class penalties.
