Do you think black pits is part of the main story line?

in General Discussion (Spoiler Warning!)
Just completed a new run of bg 1 and im not sure if i should do black pits or not (rpg). Do you think it is part of the bhaal spawns story?

Probably not right?

(I have done it with another character)

    The protagonist of Black Pits 1 and 2 is not a Bhaalspawn.

    He's a different character from the protagonist of BG1 and BG2.

    While your character isn't involved in Black Pits, it is part of the story. Neera's story in ToB is strongly linked to Black Pits 2.

    @aVENGER I haven't played either yet. But is it supposed to be the same protagonist for both ?

    The adventurers in the Black Pits 1 and the adventurers in the Black Pits 2 are (from a story standpoint) the same people

    It definitely takes place in the same world. But not EVERYTHING is about Charname. At least that is what my Analyst keeps on telling me. It isn't ALL about me.....
