Strange bug in ToB (Rasaad leaves)

When romancing Viconia with Rasaad in the party the first conversation you have with her makes Rasaad leave.

Unfortunately I have no save of this (the workaround was to throw him out before the convo takes place) but it goes along these lines:

1. You tell Vic you need her and want her to stay
2. Rasaad interjects with "I understand, but I have to do this, with or without you" and leaves, as if we were talking with him and refused to take care of his quest.


Happens every time.

I believe I had a related bug: when speaking to Viconia (without Rasaad in the party or even summoned), she starts saying that she can't follow me in what I do now, that she can't fight Shayans like this. This occurred in non-modded game started from ToB while still in demiplane.

@Akachi @LordInsane Could you upload your zipped savegames? It'd be very helpful in figuring out what's going on!

I forgot to say (which is important - sorry!) that I had activated debug mode. Still, here are the zipped savegames...
"Hah" is after the first trial, and after the conversation (it was a previous save, while I had to start from before for Prior, thus the lower number). Uploaded the wrong file for prior, will do that now...

Sorry, as I said: no savegame, I'm way past that point and have no back-ups.

That's normal behaviour. She's scared (not of the Sharrans, but of falling in love) and wants to leave. Normal ToB romance. Just reassure her.

BTW. Could you put Rassad in your party and see if he decides to leave during your talk with Viconia?

No, I would have thought that, too, but she refers to "Knowingly taking up arms against those who worship my own goddess." And I have now done it... Rasaad does indeed leave.

Attached is Lrys, the actual 'prior to summoning Viconia' save. Same result all three times I've reloaded (once with Rasaad, with the result that he left).

So . . . is this actually a bug, or just the game's way of letting you know you can't have both characters in your party in ToB if you're romancing Viconia? Because this is happening to me as well.

Yes, it appears to be the same. Actually, the first love talk goes fine (I choose all the nice responses) and she stays. But if I then hit the talk button and choose Viconia, she starts the convo where she says she can't stay and fight Sharrans, etc. (and we're still at the beginning of the game, i.e. Rasaad's quest hasn't started yet.)

Here's a save if it helps. It's saved just after the first love talk.

I imagine this convo would happen sooner or later (Rasaad is in the party), but it's just weird to happen at the outset.
