Charm person bgee1

Okay, admitedly I have modded my game so much it is unrecognizable so this may not be something relevant, but when playing Dorn got charmed by the "charm person" spell and proceeded to be pelted with melf minute meteors by the same mage and ultimately died. Now, shouldn't the charm person have been dispelled by the attack? And does it in an unmoded game of bgee?

    hrm...it is *supposed* to break it but I am uncertain what exactly happens when an enemy charms a PC. I try to have a dispel magic scroll on hand or another charm person just in case. I'll see if I can set up a situation that matches what you describe to see what happens.
