in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I almost have the 1st level done but cant find my stuff...can someone help me?

    The level of the dungeon where you first wake up when you start the game? Bad news--your stuff is gone.

    @qwert_44643 Are you referring to the opening dungeon? Settle in; getting the items back you had from BG1 will take most of the game.

    i just went threw the portal in the cell area...so my stuff i imported over is gone then?

    That is correct. Irenicus got rid of most of your stuff, there are a handful of items which will transfer over, and those are mostly located in the two bedrooms. Anything else is gone.

    @qwert_44643 Yup. You'll get better stuff soon enough, just horde your gold for a while. You'll know what to buy.
