[Not an Issue] Monk Fists are not doing proper damage!

Hey, guys, I was checking out the Monk class using the new Headband of the Devout (KILLER item!)

A level 40 monk should be doing 1d20+4 damage with his fist. If wearing the girdle of Fire Giant Strength and activating the Headband's Righteous Magic, he should have 25 strength and do max damage on every hit.

20+4+14(STR)=38 damage.

However, when I strike an opponent (with NO RESISTANCES), this attack consistently does only 30 damage, every single time. I suspect that the Monk is still using the 1d12 fist for damage, as 12+4+14=30.

I confirmed this for vanilla monks plus both kits.

Also, when I add the Gauntlets of Crushing (+4 damage), the character only hits for 33 damage. Either this item is bugged as well, or there's something bigger going on with Monk damage.

Please fix my favorite class! Thanks!

    Has nobody else experienced this?
Sorry for double posting, but it seems like a really big issue with one of my favorite classes, and I don't really want to play a monk until it's fixed...

I just made a monk to test this and he seems to be hitting for the full 38/42 damage. Are you using any mods? Any other items or debuffs that might affect things? What are you testing your fists on?

I was able to get 29/32 damage when testing on party members on normal difficulty, where all party members take 75% damage. Could this be the issue?

Ah yes, with a level 40 monk I was able to recreate the 30 damage and 33 damage with gauntlets of crushing you were getting. If you are testing on a party member be sure to calculate in the 75% damage they'll take on normal difficulty. If this isn't your issue please post again!
