[Known 9760] Neera gets wild surge for every spellcast.

Has this happened to anyone else? I thought it would be a 5% chance but for me she gets a wild surge for every single spell.

    I know that this can happen in vanilla if you cast Nahal's Reckless Dweomer but then do not choose a spell from the list. The next spell or spell-like ability you cast will use the wild surge that should have happened with your Nahal's spell. If you do this 5 times, the next 5 spells you cast will all be wild surges. Could this be what is happening?

    No, I've left that place and it kept happening all through Umar Hills. I did however not understand the reckless dweomer spell at first so that sounds more likley.

    Also saw another post about Viciona stuck in wild surges? that was solved by killing and ressing her and that seems to have worked when I did it to Neera too.

    Ever since I picked up Neera and Jaheira had a conversation with her, Jaheira is now having wild surges and casting like a wild mage, is this a bug or part of the quest/NPC interactions? We are in the wild forest . . . are all spells cast here wild?

    All the spells in the wild forest are wild.

    @supersture i posted the thing about viconia. someone mentioned in that thread that the wild forest causes wild magic effects on all casters. i was indeed in the wild forest when i had the issue, and was obviously not there when i had a priest rez her and tried casting again. i think its maybe a bug related to the wild surge effect programmed into the wild forest zone "sticking" to casters.
