"Magical weapon in use"

I can't equip Anomen with any weapon because of this. I can't even put a shield in his other hand. How to solve this?

This is the error message that you should be getting if you've cast a spell that replaces your weapon, such as flame sword, cause serious wounds, spiritual hammer, etc. Can you confirm that none of those spells are active? Does the problem persist after resting? Did you cast one of those spells earlier, and if so which one?

I cast Harm, but had no problems equiping weapons afterwards. Now all of a sudden I can't equip any weapon.

Hmm, harm has very short duration so it should have expired very quickly. It is possible that something interrupted the expiration part and the game still thinks you have harm active. Try casting harm again, and then just wait for it to expire. This should cause any previously cast harm spell to also expire.
