Normally, Glaicus is hostile to the party, and attacks them on sight, unless
I was not in the room with him, nor did I have line of sight to him. I did not do anything that should have affected him in any way. I do not believe that I had rested at any point after arriving at the keep, and I did not spend a particularly long amount of time getting to his floor.
When I did get to the room he was in, I found him non-hostile and was able to talk to him. The dialog was what I would expect if I had resolved his hostile state non-lethally.
There is
the charm affecting him is dispelled or supplanted.
When the level of the keep he is on loaded, I received this message in the dialog box:Glaicus-Dispel Effects
Glaicus-What can it be now?
Glaicus-For the glory of my new master, whose sorcery has shown me the way, I shall destroy you!

There is
an experience award associated with his dialog that is intended to be a reward for
resolving the encounter without killing Glaicus. Currently, doing so happens without any effort from the player, which essentially means that a (minor) subquest is broken. I don't know exactly what is causing this problem, but I suggest that fixing it would be worthwhile. 0
