Elemental Archer

It just came to my mind that since BG2 (especially ToB) is sort of lackluster in terms of the power of ranged attacks, this class might be a great addition. The main problem is the lack of good +x of ranged attacks/bows and an elemental archer with extra elemental damage to its ranged attacks could very well make up for it, while perhaps offerings some other fun bonuses and penalties. Especially because of the extra use of elemental damage over normal damage as in flail of the ages.

What do you guys/girls think?
