It absolutely needs to be a lawful neutral character. One thing that drives me nuts about this series is that it doesn't really balance out who you get with the alignment system very well, and this alignment is the perfect example of that. Between TWO games you get TWO characters that are lawful neutral (Xan and Anomen) and one of them is only technically that alignment for a short period of time.
Lawful neutral is one of the most fun alignments out there so long as it isn't written to mean 'lawful stupid' and I'd love to see an interesting lawful neutral character put into the franchise. They are a lot of fun and a lot of work in a pen and paper setting, and I've probably had more fun with that alignment than any other. It's a really cool alignment as long as you don't play it like a stereotype.

The game did good vs evil, but it did not implement the Lawful vs Chaotic dynamic enough imho. Never a moment where Minsc May get into it with Mazzy or Keldorn, though the Nalia vs Keldor/Mazzy banters were good. The Korgan vs Edwin was nice though, happy they didn't get along so well
