Garren's cabbin Windspear hills (small spoiler)

Problem: Upon having finished the dungeon with Firkraag and freed Garren's child you are instructed to return to Garren s hut. When entering the hut the game stalls. It is at this point no longer possible to access any menues/interactions/no keys work.

Suggestions for a fix would be great.
Other relevant information: Autosave saves before entering the cabbin and reloading saves in the dungeon prior to saving his child does not solve the matter.
When exiting the dungeon the whole area is like it is not explored (shrouded) even though I have explored it all and all monsters have re-spawned.

I did not encounter this problem when returning to the cabin after freeing the child. It sounds like you are suffering from a couple of bugs (memory leak, area reset) that have been fixed in the latest patch. Unfortunately, I don't think that the patch can fix a saved game that is already suffering from the problem. You might need to reload from an older save (before Windspear, maybe) if you have one, or else start a new game in order to avoid the problem.
