Err... illithid. Is it possible to cure the effects of having one's brain eaten by illithid?

The loss of intelligence is only temporary, as long as they didn't slurp out all your brains, in which case you will be dead. That happened to me more times than I can count. Make a mental note--Minsc is not the best tank to use for fighting illithid.

Annoyingly, the vast majority of fighter type npc's in bg2 can't stand any more than a single hit from a mindflayer before death.
I can't help but feel this was done deliberately.

Chianti with brain? What kind of savage are you? Chianti is great with spleen and maybe some fava beans on the side. For brain you ought to go with a nice white wine, like a Sauvignon B or a Chardonnay B, it brings out the nice salty fatty texture of brain.

Christ, these children. Gotta hold their hand through everything...

I did not know. I feel suitably educated. next time I have Brains, I will make sure that I have it with white wine. Thanks for the tip.
