[Known 6232] Game crashes when I try to open inventory after Underdark

I just got free from the Underdark and after talking with the Elven general guy, whenever I try to open up the inventory screen or the character screen, the game crashes. I've tried going to different zones but it still crashes. I haven't seen anyone else mention this so hopefully I'm not doubling up on a problem that's already been addressed.

    If you have drow items, try removing them before you leave the Underdark.

    From what I've seen, the adamantite shields in particular have been causing the crash issue. If you don't have a save before exiting underdark, one option is to kill the characters with the offending items and resurrect them (they'll no longer be wearing them, so problem solved!).
