Cleric Stronghold Quest bugged

Hey guys,

yesterday i encountered the "quick save error and everything is reset" bug, but my last manual save was hours ago, so i kept on playing.

i just finished the cult of the unseen eye quest and got invited to join the temple of lathander. the head priest sends me to talk to acolyte lara to get my duties. but, well... there is no acolyte lara... nowhere to be found...

i tried to insert her via the console, which starts out fine. she automatically starts talking to me und tells me i have to meet some people and make decisions. after the conversation, me und my party are warped to my room in the temple and the first guy arrives and speaks to me. i make my decision, the guy leaves and well... nothing happens... lara is gone again... if i insert her again, she just runs to me and keeps repeating a few lines. if i try to talk to her i get the message she is busy...

so what now, do i have to forget my cleric stronghold? or is there any way to progress the quest via the console?

The reset bug is pretty bad since so many things in the game rely on variables. If I were you I'd cut my losses and make a new game under the patch (maybe import your PC), but if you really want to trudge on I can give you the variable(s) you need. What decision did you make with the first person to come to the church?

Well, as it turns out, this was not a bug, i just haven't been patient enough... after inserting lara via the console and talking to the first guy, one has to wait for a day for the guy to reappear... after another 2 days lara is back as well and the quest progresses just fine... a journal entry would have been nice... :)

but thanks for your help :)

i must admit, this cleric "stronghold" is rather disappointing. a room in the temple, a hand full quests and that's it. no special items, no spells/powers, no money... :)

Serving Lathander is its own reward.
