[Steam] Moving the Directory for Saves and Character Files

Greetings, all!

I have BGEE from Steam on Windows. I installed BGEE to my E: internal hard drive. My C: drive is small and meant for just the operating system and essential files.

I've discovered through various low disk space warnings that BGEE saves a lot of stuff to C: in some fashion. How can I safely change it so all the files from BG (saves, character files, etc.) are on my E: drive?

BGEE stores the save games in your user profile in the Documents directory. Apart from that, there's not much more that the game creates out of the installation directory.
By default the user profile is in C:. You could move the Documents directory of your profile, or your profile entirely, out of the C: drive. You'll find explanations on some technological web sites. I can't recommend any though (English is not my mother tongue).
