Messenger for Nalia

I completed the de'Arnise quest and obtained my stronghold. I know that there is a messenger that is supposed to show up and tell Nalia about her father's funeral. Problem is I cannot get him to show up. I have tried to pass time by resting for days and weeks, doing my various duties at the keep as required. He still does not show up. Can anyone help me out here?

    That event is related to Nalia, not the stronghold. Ergo, you don't need to own the keep, but she needs to be in your party. Is she?

    Yes, I picked her up right after clearing out the keep.

    Alright, then I can only speculate that you need to visit Athkatla or something for the event to trigger. I'll just use my favorite summoning spell: @LiamEsler

    Yeah, I have been traveling around Athkatla, sometimes going to the keep. If this cannot be fixed I might just dump Nalia (which I plan to do after her quest anyway) and move onto another quest.
