[SPOILER] Dorns quest question

I'm inside the great tree at the resurrection gorge

I told Dorn something about reviving a druid for the sacrifice which I assume is Vernus lying on the floor

How do I go about doing this? I'm feeling stupid right now and don't feel like sacrificing any of my NPC's

    Really hoping I'm not forced to sacrifice a NPC ...

    Did you try casting a ressurection/raise dead spell/scroll/rod on vernus?

    it's really buggy. i got it to somewhat work equipping dorn with the abyssal blade then moving him near vernus and cast raise dead on vernus. with dorn standing in the middle of the room. half way through casting vernus will stand up even though the spell is not finished and dorn will initiate a dialogue. this does not always work however. i had to reload the autosave a couple of times before it occured suddenly

    Ah I didn't really think of that since he's just unconscious..
