[Mod] "You played Elminster?" character in Waukeen's Promenade

As the title says, I have stumbled upon an NPC labeled, "You played Elminster?" within Waukeen's Promenade while attempting to finish in first Thieves Guild quest (Ama assassination).

Instead of letting her summon the goons to attack me, I attacked her first. After everyone was dead, this armored NPC was standing next to the entrance. I am unable to initiate any dialogue with him.

I'll try attaching a picture. This might not even be a bug, but an easter egg? I have no idea. Only mod I have is 1 portrait, and the BG2 Tweak Pack.

(Upon killing the NPC, he only has chain mail, 1 gold, and a quarterstaff on his body. No reputation is lost, but Amnian Guards will become hostile.)

    do you have any mods installed? sometimes mods like to mess around with the dialogue file and mess some wordings up in the game

    Looks like a string mismatch. As sarevok mentioned above these are often caused by poorly coded, removed, or conflicting mods.

    Only mod I use is the BG2 Tweak Pack, which very well may have done something to cause this.
