[Known 7192] strange TOB new game bug?

If I start a new game in TOB the screen just goes black, this only happens if I create a new CHARNAME.
If I import a save the game starts up just fine.
is this only me?

    I have this problem as well, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. If I open up my inventory or other feature via keyboard and then press g the problem solves, though. Luckily I knew the keyboard commands...
