Awesome Shapeshifter findings

So, I dunno about you guys, but I was disappointed when I discovered no changes were made to the Shapeshifter in the Enhanced Edition, but that didn't stop me from playing one, and I discovered something which I *think* is novel, so just call me an idiot if this has been covered before.

My plan was to take a Shapeshifter up to 13 for Greater Werewolf form, then dual class over to Fighter for the great thac0 bonuses. I hit level 13 Druid, and asked my friend who was playing with me what would happen if I'm in Greater Werewolf form while I Dual Classed to fighter. Neither of us knew, so we tried it, and so far the results have been fantastic.

Unfortunately, Steam's 'take screenshot' button is F12, and F12 also brings up my abilities tab, so whenever I try to take a screenshot of my character in the world it brings up my abilities, blocking the fact that my weapons are still my freaking Greater Werewolf claws.

There is a way to change the screenshot hotkey somewhere in Steam. It's been too long since I used it for me to remember, but maybe someone else knows? Cool stuff regardless.

Seems like a bug to me. guess it was never discovered because so many people dislike shapeshifter

lol can you wear armor in your dual classed fighter? how low does it push your armor class?

I agree, it looks like an exploit to me, one of those that @CamDawg likes to squash

Clearly a bug. No doubt a great find. I don't think it exists in BG2 since (if not wrong) you can't dual class while in greater werewolf form (option is freezed).
Also, by following P&P rule book there is no mention about such possibility.

Great question! You cannot put armor on, it tells you 'you cannot use this item'. Similarly, while you can remove a weapon from your hand, you can't put a new weapon in, it tells you you cannot do that while shapeshifted.

Check out the file weregrdr.cre in override folder. This file determines shapeshifters attributes etc. But it seems not everything works as intended (eg saves or regeneration). The file can be edited with near infinity eg.
