Awesome Shapeshifter findings

So, I dunno about you guys, but I was disappointed when I discovered no changes were made to the Shapeshifter in the Enhanced Edition, but that didn't stop me from playing one, and I discovered something which I *think* is novel, so just call me an idiot if this has been covered before.
My plan was to take a Shapeshifter up to 13 for Greater Werewolf form, then dual class over to Fighter for the great thac0 bonuses. I hit level 13 Druid, and asked my friend who was playing with me what would happen if I'm in Greater Werewolf form while I Dual Classed to fighter. Neither of us knew, so we tried it, and so far the results have been fantastic.
Here is my character after shapeshifting into Greater Werewolf. Still a Druid. http://i.imgur.com/JNJ35ug.jpg
Here's my inventory. http://i.imgur.com/KKHn37b.jpg
Now I've Dual Classed. Here's my character screen. Check out my attributes. And look, despite the fact I'm a level 1 fighter, I've got 4 attacks per round! http://i.imgur.com/SubtDvh.jpg
Here's what my character looks like right now. I appear... Well, human. But check it out, in my abilities tab, I can transform myself from a human, into a human. http://i.imgur.com/0FmNiKy.jpg
Next I'll play with my inventory. Notice that despite not wearing any armor, this level 1 fighter has an AC of -14. Here's what it looks like right now. http://i.imgur.com/QnLcTH5.jpg
So far so normal, let me just pick up literally anthing in my inventory and... AAAAGH http://i.imgur.com/k32rINz.jpg
Now here's what my character looks like on screen! http://i.imgur.com/hmvRj8R.jpg
Unfortunately, Steam's 'take screenshot' button is F12, and F12 also brings up my abilities tab, so whenever I try to take a screenshot of my character in the world it brings up my abilities, blocking the fact that my weapons are still my freaking Greater Werewolf claws.
Anyway, that's all from me.

Also, by following P&P rule book there is no mention about such possibility.
