Help with hexxat quest

in General Discussion (Spoiler Warning!)
Somehow i got stuck at 1st part of the quest...
I got into the tomb,explored everything and cant find out how to continue
I see there is some unexplored areas i cant access...there is a "device" on a wall asking for some "cilindrical key item"
what is it? what should i do?

I will be glad if someone help me out

    bring hexxat with you to the room in the top left side of the tomb with a broken coffin. when she reaches the spot there will be a cutscene. and you can activate the broken tomb to move to another area in the tomb. there you need to kill a ghost for the rod then get back out via the same broken tomb and use the rod holder

    i didnt see i could activate the broken tomb...
