Making new notifications better visible

First of all, I really really like how notifications work here - this red number next to your name really make it easier to keep up with your posts.

But, is it possible to adapt Facebook-styled number with new notifications on the tab? You know, up there, on the browser, instead of Baldur's Gate there could be "Zakeros [1]" or even "Baldur's Gate [1]". I would like to have it opened on the background and switch to it only when I see someone replied.

I know it's small and irrelevant, but I bet there are more people who'd appreciate it.

    Do you mean, could it open a drop down menu with a summary of each notification rather than send you to the notifications tab? If so then I agree.

    On a similar note, if possible notification would be better if the assimilated all notifications of a different type. The other day I started a new thread and when I came back to it it had another 14 posts and each one had a separate notification.
