App Store BGII:EE Crashes (MAC OS X 10.8.5)

in BGII:EE Bugs (v1.2.2030)
I just downloaded BG II:EE from the App Store a couple of days ago, and have been enjoying the game. However in two days of playing I have had the game crash three times, generating a crash report. Once was in an SOA game, and twice today in BOT. Each time the crash report indicates:
