#7185 [NEERA] Neera/Hexxat ToB quest, conversation loop (Heavy Spoilers)

Here is what happend:

I progressed Neeras quest by casting reckless dweomer at the clearing but instead of going to sleep I decided to do Hexxats questline and went to the tomb, L sends you to.

After I finished it, convincing Hexxat to remain in unlive, I tried to advance Neeras quest by setting up a camp at the clearing. Nothing happend, so I cast reckless dweomer again and then went to sleep.

Instead of getting ambushed though, Neera repeats the dialog from Hexxats quest after you have killed the false lich, "Are dead liches supposed to do that?" with the whole conversation following up, again and again.

Would there be a way to fix this? Also this conversation triggers now whenever I initiate a dialog with Neera, though it wont loop then.

To fix temporarily, un-rar and place this file in the override directory.

I have the same issue. Am trying to apply the solution but am having trouble finding the override directory for bg2 ee.

Yea, my romance with Neera is dead now. And I kicked out Hexxat the insanely buggy/bitchy npc, and now I know she is the reason for my npc romance is dead. She just keeps getting better!

I ran into this same problem, the fix posted above removed it, but I then realized it also occurred with Aerie. Every time I try to talk to here she spouts something about how the lich is dead. Is there a fix for her as well?

Here are the fixes for the three affected characters:

Raucher

Same issue happens with Viconia and related to the dwarfen Castle. If you manually try to talk to her, she complains about the slaughtering of shar followers and threat you about her possible vanishing. Even if you do not have Rasaad in the Group and do not his quest.
