TOB Raasad bug (spoilers)

So, I believe that Rasaad's quest bugged out on me in TOB- possibly in several ways. At the very end of the quest, the party runs into Alorgoth, who escapes through the portal. I sprint to the portal-Rasaad never gives any dialogue at this point-and get myself transported. After defeating the dragon, the cave collapses and we run away. At this point, Viconia tells me that she can't work against her goddess anymore yada yada, and I should go back to Athkatla with her. Rasaad just leaves at this point.
So. Sorry for all the explanation. My bug issue is
-Rasaad dialogue is supposed to trigger prior to entering the shadow portal, and upon trying to exit the shadow realm, as I understand it. Neither really occurred.
-Viconia's interjection reads like something that should have happened in SOA, or at very least earlier in the quest line.
Are these truly bugs, or did I miss something?

The first thing you mention is a known issue that you can work around as described in http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/25473/rasaad-quest-wheel-of-obliteration

As for the Viconia interjection, it doesn't sound like Rasaad ToB content. Can you post the exact text or a screenshot of it, please. Also a zipped saved game before it, if you have one.
