Mod Tutor(s) request

I wanted to try modding, but I am clueless how to start doing it. I tried reading some tutorials but they are still kinda off the table for me. Does anyone have time and will to give me tips or teach me some basics to help me start?

    "Tutoring" sounds too official and too intimidating - you're going to scare people away, because who wants the weight of responsibility? :D

    Why don't you just start by telling what it is you would like to do and what questions you currently have, that way it's easier for whoever reads your post to jump in with answers.

    Also, you may want to post these questions on the actual IE modding forums, like Spellhold Studios (shsforums.net), G3 (gibberlings3.net) and others. Not sure what tutorials you have found, just in case going to throw the lists from those sites (they're very helpful):

    Best tutorial for me has been examining how other people's mods work. If you're unsure how to do something - find something already doing similar things and work from their example. Just make sure to aim for modern Weidu-based mods right off the bat, and you should be fine.
