Reform party in Brynnlaw - BUG?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition

My apologies in advance if this question has already been asked before.
So, I remember a ''bug'' in BG2 where kicking out a party member (telling them to return to the Copper Coronet) in Brynnlaw resulted in said character being stuck there. Has this bug been fixed in the EE?
I want to dump Nalia for Imoen just before leaving Brynnlaw with the ship to the Underdark (She needs the XP), but I'm afraid she'll stay there forever.
