*spoilers* can you turn rassad evil?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I'm currently playing through as a paladin, so he's going to remain good, but a lot o the dialogue options seem to be trying to convince rassad to forsake selune and embrace another faith. is this actually something that can happen? if so i think my dark moon monk would actually pick him up when i do a play through with him.
