Running BGII:EE on older chipset

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi!
Finally, a year after purchase of BG:EE I'm able to run it with help of patch 1.20. It streamlines game so older chipsets are able to handle graphics. What I'm curious about, is, does BGII:EE has similar modification built in? Or do I have to wait another year? :)
