Changing Rasaad's Class/Alignment in BG2:EE?

Is it possible to change Rasaad's alignment during his quest? A lot of the language suggests that you can. If you can, and if you encourage him to follow the dual philosophy (that Shar and Selune are the same) does he just become a normal monk I'm guessing?
